Here you will find a list of past projects and websites that I have created, including a brief summary of each one.
BrainPower.Guide (Under Construction)
The front-end only website for my parent’s hot food business. I created it to establish an online presence for the business and to allow customers online access to menus, prices, news, and the business telephone number. It is very popular among customers and gets hits regularly, particularly on weekends (measured via Google Analytics).
My first big foray into affiliate marketing. I spent many late nights building out this website, especially working on the content. This was a subject I was passionate about, but ultimately I could not keep up with the changes in the Motorcycle Licensing industry. I decided to retire the site a year later when the information on the website became obsolete and misleading.
Unfortunately I could not save the original site, but I do have a local copy on my computer.
This was a website dedicated to a project I was working on. A home made camera crane. The target audience were YouTube video makers and amateur cinematographers. Unfortunately I never finished the website, but it remains active for those who are still interested. It never received a real launch, and it not optimized for search engines. It sits in the far corner of the internet unknown to the public, but it remains one of my favourite projects. It provided an opportunity to create a real product, and to work with Google Sketchup (3D modelling software) to create the graphics.
An internet marketing website for a poker ebook product. This was the result of a facebook marketing experiment. Overall the experiment was a failure, but much was learned about internet marketing, mailing lists, opt-in pages, and ebook writing.
An early internet marketing website that allowed me to explore the world of affiliate marketing. This introduced me to resources such as Amazon’s Associate Program, Click Bank, Affiliate Window, and Commission Junction. The web-site itself was designed around SEO (pre-panda update). The website was based on the WordPress CMS platform and restyled for purpose.
Another internet marketing website, based around popular keywords and products. Here I was targeting the fitness market and trying to capture and rank for keywords in Google searches. Particularly around “home gym” products. Each article then targeted other keywords. Revenue streams were from Google PPC and affiliate links. The website is still online but no longer ranks for keywords following Google’s panda update.
