So my Ultimate Arduino pack arrived over the weekend. First impression was that the Arduino Uno is a lot smaller than I expected it to be.
So I finally got around to tinkering with it. The blinking LED is the hello world of Arduino microcontrollers and therefore was my first circuit. Thanks to a few sample “sketches” I found in the Arduino IDE I manage to also try out the “Button” sketch that turns on an led when it detects a button has been depressed.
Hurrah! It works, and I’m already excited. Of course, I will need to spend some time reviewing circuits and the programming code functions available. But I’m glad I invested in it. It’s awfully exciting to be tinkering with electronics again!
